I am currently a liver transplant fellow at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, where I completed my GI fellowship in the summer. I moved to Canada from Israel in 2021, during the pandemic, with my husband and three children. When I began my fellowship, it became clear that my passion lay in hepatology and liver transplant. With the guidance of my mentors, Dr. Binita Kamath and Dr. Robert Bandsma, I embarked on this lifelong journey in the field. My research focus centers on sarcopenia in end-stage liver disease and autoimmune hepatitis. I am incredibly grateful to be part of the TRIANGLE program, which has played a key role in helping me achieve my goals and expand my network of colleagues and friends here in Canada.
