Dr. Ebele Ola is the Vice-President of Medical Affairs at Johnson & Johnson Canada. She leads a team of Medical Affairs Professionals dedicated to the generation, analysis, and unbiased dissemination of scientific data to health care professionals, to support improved patient outcomes. She is a member of the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Canada Leadership Team. Ebele has been with J&J in Canada since 2008. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Ebele was Medical Director and Principal Investigator, overseeing a team of over 100 clinical research professionals in the conduct of Phase I to Phase III Clinical trials. During this period, the company grew by 50 percent and inpatient capacity increased four-fold. In 2016, Ebele was recognized as a Healthcare Businesswomen's Association Rising Star. She is passionate about Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, and sponsored the Diverse Future Leaders Program in partnership with McMaster University over the last 3 years. She has also served as Executive Sponsor for the J&J Women's Leadership Initiative for the last 7 years. Ebele obtained her Medical Degree from the University of Toronto in Canada, followed by a residency in Family Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto and a Sports Medicine Fellowship. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys latin dancing and traveling to new destinations with her husband and daughter.
