Siu Ling is a 5th year PhD student at the University of Toronto studying the role of autoantibodies in the development of Crohn's disease. Her interest in basic research in immunology was inspired by her time at a biopharmaceutical company focused on monoclonal antibody therapeutics, hoping to contribute to understanding disease at the molecular level that can eventually impact patient care. When not rushing around the lab, you can find her biking, walking her dogs, playing volleyball, or looking up recipes (but rarely making them).
