I am currently working as a clinical fellow in the division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition at SickKids, Toronto. I completed my medical school, pediatric residency and board-accredited pediatric Gastroenterology & Hepatology fellowship from esteemed institutes in India. Subsequently, I worked as a staff gastroenterologist in Mumbai, India, caring for children with a variety of gastrointestinal and liver diseases before moving to SickKids to explore advanced clinical and translational research in North America. I currently work in the Muise lab and Precision IBD clinic for my research years. I am passionate about research in inflammatory, immune mediated & metabolic disorders, utilizing advanced bioinformatics-based approaches like metabolomics and proteomics. On the clinical side, I am additionally trained in advanced therapeutic endoscopy and am committed to applying and maintaining my skills in this area. Outside of work, I enjoy playing table tennis, cricket, & writing English poetry combining medicine with humor!
