Professor Prévost Jantchou is a pediatric gastroenterologist at CHU Sainte-Justine and an Associate Professor at the University of Montreal. After earning his medical doctorate and several specializations in France, he completed a Ph.D. in epidemiology in 2010 and an MBA at HEC Montreal in 2018. An active researcher, he focuses on inflammatory bowel diseases (epidemiology, clinical trials, cohort studies, quality of life, quality of care) and has authored 49 scientific articles and five book chapters and published one book. A recipient of multiple awards, he is also the founder of the INSPIRE Foundation, supporting young Afro-descendants in accessing selective careers. As a TEDx speaker and author, his online videos and talks have garnered over 40 million views. He chairs the Research Ethics Committee at CHU Sainte-Justine and is involved in national and international gastroenterology networks. Professor Jantchou is a member of the Canada Royal Society
