My name is Noah Gordon, and I am a first-year undergraduate student at the University of Calgary. My research is focused on the effects of IBS on increased visceral sensitivity. I will evaluate tissue samples to rule out inflammation as a cause of increased sensitivity. Since beginning my academic journey at the University of Calgary, I have come to realize that science is not just about understanding what is already known-it is about pushing boundaries and expanding knowledge. The ability to contribute to the scientific community through research is something I find incredibly meaningful. Outside of the lab, I love to climb, ski, and mountain bike!
