My laboratory is interested in identifying and validating novel therapeutic targets or strategies to treat inflammatory bowel diseases and its complications. We have expertise in macrophage activation and innate immunology. We have developed the SHIP deficient mouse model of Crohn's disease-like ileitis that we use to investigate foundational biology associated with ileal inflammation and as a model of Crohn's disease to interrogate novel drug targets.
