Hi, my name is Chelssy, and I'm a second-year medical student at the Université de Montréal. With a background in Biomedical Sciences, I've always been drawn to research, and since 2025 I've been actively involved in clinical GI research in Dr. von Renteln's lab at the CRCHUM. I've worked on various projects on clinical AI, IBD central reading, and video databank development, which have further strengthened my motivation to pursue a career as a clinician-scientist. Outside of academics, I'm passionate about sports, especially soccer. I'm also deeply committed to equity and community engagement, and I'm proud to be the co-founder of the Fairplay Project, an initiative dedicated to making sports and health resources accessible to youth from all backgrounds. Beyond that, I enjoy expressing my creativity through film photography and music curation and mixing.
