Hello! My name is Aryan, and I am entering my second year of Health Sciences and Scholar's Electives at Western University. This summer, I will be working with Dr. Ellen Kuenzig to conduct research aimed at better understanding the unmet needs of patients living with IBD in Canada. Having seen the challenges of living with inflammatory bowel disease in someone close to me, I am particularly motivated to better understand and address the unmet needs of this patient population. Outside of academics, I stay active through swimming, continuing as a lifeguard after years in the pool. I am grateful to the TRIANGLE CONNECT Summer Studentship for making this work possible and enabling me to engage in patient-centered research!
